I have been looking at a snowplow attachment for my Polaris 325 Magnum. Does anyone have a snowplow for their ATV? and if so how well dos it work. tom

I got my plow from Cabela's along with the lift handle kit.<P>After thr first winter I got rid of the handle mechanism and installed the 1500# Super Winch. I thought I could do it without the winch mounting kit but was wrong about that. I got the kit from Cabela's too.<P>Now, I've got me a snow eating push button operated plowing machine that just won't quit.<P>Mine's a '98 Kawasaki. They make the mount kits for all different models.<P>2D<P>

Tom: Go to your Polaris dealer and get their catalog. They show a complete listing of plows, winches, hydraulics, and all the goodies made for ATV's. I found out with my rifle boot, that if it has the Polaris name on it. Its going to be of the better quality, and the price is fare. I returned the boot the dealer tried to sell me, and had him order the Polaris. It was about $20 more for both the boot and steel bracket. But worth it. I have a plow on my Suzuki Quadrunner you will probably want chains on the front. But my plow has worked well since 91. Will handle snow depths of unpacked dry snow to 18". I try and keep up with snow and dont let it accumalate in heavy snowstorms. With a good operator they can acomplish a lot.

hey Phil, I went to the polaris dealer where I got my machine and checked prices and equipment. But thanks for the offer of the catalog. I prefer to buy locally when I can and they work out to being about the same price as cabelas. I am thinking a winch for raising and lowering the blade might be good money spent. tom
