I just bought a new Polaris Ranger and I'm in the process of loading some gear up. I have a snatch block and a heavy nylon sling, a pair of limb lopers, a bow saw, a tool bag with the basic pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, ect. The oblatory roll of duct tape, roll of tie wire, zip ties, a few tarp straps, a couple of ratchet straps. I'll probably never be more than a few miles from camp. I doubt that I'll haul more than a few sacks of corn or a dead deer. I'll load any necessary tools if I have a special project. If I'm hunting I will have a few snacks and some water. So, what else do you carry?

That's very similar to my stuff. I add a small tool kit. I went to Harbor Freight and bought some wrenches, a socket set, etc. I carry a full set of fuses, too, along with a test light to see if one's blown. A spare tire & jack don't do much good if you can't get the wheel off. I have a small breaker bar with the right sizes of sockets.

I always carry some spare parts along with a bunch of tools, tow straps, camp ax, .032 safety wire, wire ties, oil, Gorilla tape, tire plug kit, air compressor, terminals/splices and a first aid kit. As for parts, I carry 2 spare tie rod ends, lug nuts, c/v boot repair kit, spare windshield parts, fuses, and relays. I've had to replace 2 tie rod ends over the last 2 years and having the parts on hand gets me on my way in about 20 minutes.
