The originals are worn out. They are the original Maxis. Need new all terrain types. One of the biggest problems where I ride in North East mountainous logging skidder roads is traversing side hill roads with dips and dives. You really have to stay physical to keep the machine from flipping. I'm sure that new tires would help greatly. Been looking at the Maxis Bighorns, any suggestions?
The Bighorns have a great reputation. Where we ride, rocks are the problem, big sharp ones. I went with Sedona Ripsaws because the spaces between the knobs are smaller and offer better protection from sharp rocks. I haven't had them in much snow yet to know how they perform there.

I put ITP mud lite on my Yamaha grizzley...they out perform both the Suzuki and Polaris with their stock tires...no suprise as they are much more aggressive...made in USA also...
Thanks Guys. Made a deal with the local shop for some unused takeoffs, Maxxis Bighorns.

I had them on for a little snow plowing last winter but we didn't have enough snow to really test them. They did very well with what little we had. The problem is that I've only had the RZR for 2 years and it's the only one I've driven. I don't know how a good snow tire is supposed to perform on one of these.
Kenda makes great tires!
I just put a set of Kenda Bearclaws on my Foreman 450 this summer. Have been really happy with them for the price.
I'm looking at ITP Terracross or STI Black Diamond XTR's to replace the stockers on my KingQuad 400ASi.

thats what i use on my big bear. they work great in mud and snow and general offroad. probably wouldn't want to run them on hard surfaces too much though.

I use ITP Mudlites on my Yamaha Rhino and where I hunt elk the trails are nothing but rocks & boulders. No problems, they held up great going on 4 years now.
