SuperATV flip windshield.
Our old 1 piece was scratched beyond repair and was more like a wall than a window. We decided to go with a flip up. We found that most of them require you to put it in either the vent or closed position while bouncing around on rough trails. This one can be used open in any conditions.

It wasn't the cheapest on the market but we haven't regretted a few more $$ after using it a few times. I installed it in under 30 min. The upper panel has a slight warp so it doesn't close tightly at the outside edges. However, so much air get in around it that the gap matters zero.

I'm 6' and have to sit on a thick cushion because of a hip problem. I have no problem seeing under it when open.

They say to use only soap and water to clean it. No Windex or other chemicals. Lexan is as tough as it comes but some chemicals can mess up the surface. NEVER wipe dust off without water. That's like using sandpaper. That goes for your eyeglasses, too. Dust is abrasive and any plastic can scratch if you wipe it off dry.

They say to trailer it closed and recommend putting a tight strap around it while trailering it to make sure it doesn't flip up at highway speed and get torn off.

One of the best windshields for UTVs, nothing wrong with glass but glass windshields are harder to lift up out of your way when you are trying to take pictures or you want a little breeze flowing through. As far as scratching I have about 5000 miles on mine and the only scratch I have so far is the one from hitting a tree branch at about 30 that would have impaled the passenger had the windshield not been there. Was looking to the left and all the sudden heard a big crack and a limb flying in the air behind the SxS. We use non ammonia windshield cleaner with a squeegee to clean the window.

Been using a Kolpin tilt windshiled on my Rhino for about 8 years and it's held up well. It's got it share of scratches but doesn't affect vision and I like being able to remove it when towing to cut down on wind resistance.

I built my own windshield frame from 3/4" angle and attached it to the roll bar frame with heavy duty nutserts and 5/16" bolts. Had the local auto glass shop cut and install the glass in the frame. Now I can scrape the ice & snow off of it. I treated mine with rainx. works great. The safety glass & install with urethane cost me just over $100.00.

ouch is right. i'm sure you get plenty of dust and best plastic ends up scratching eventually.

tried it in the rain yet?

I sprayed the plastic with Rainx for plastic. Don't use the glass stuff on it as that can damage the polycarb. I haven't had it out in much rain but it seems to run off fairly well. I also carry a spray bottle with just a dab of soap in it and a clean towel to wash the dust off occasionally. Wiping it off dry will scratch it for sure. Dust is like sandpaper.
