Cz 550 6.5 rebooted to 35 whelen

There was a thread on a 260 rebore to 358 or 338 fed. Any problems with going from 6.5 swede to 35 whelen in a cz 550 fs?

I think it would work. Call JES and ask. Personally I would sell the CZ and buy a Whelen if that what you want.

I''d re-barrel instead of re-bore, unless you have sights you really like on the 6.5X55 and want to keep them.
But even adding sights to a new barrel is not a big deal.

A nice 550fs in 6.5x55 commands a premium these days. You could probably get your money back and then some.

I'd go this way, unless for some reason the barrel is crap.

The problem is losing the 6,5 Swede.
