Was thinking of thinning the herd and not buying any more rifles but that damned Brownells offered the Howa 6 man bun at just $249 for the barreled action. Now another project. If it shoots when done and it should my wife will probably steal it from me.

Lol, I caved too. Just so happens that somehow, I had a Howa 1500 SA stock in my bin.

I wish I'd bought both Bansners stocks a couple of years ago on eBay. Only bought one but the Brownells guys came through with a sale-not nearly as good as this one but the sculpted action light profile 20" barrel in 6.5 man bun.

So if I go cheap I'll get a Vanguard stock or I might just order a Mickey from Rick Bin.

They got me too with that one. No rush on a stock as the project pile is still pretty high. Might go Gryptonite if I can find one cheap.

Or, I can try and burn up the barrel in my .243 Alpine real fast.....
