I know its not quite a rifle, but close enough. wink

I've always wanted an XP100, but never found one in my price range....until today. Its an "A" prefix in 7mm TCU, which I assume likely started as a .221 Fireball and was at some point rebarreled. Stock was likely made by Western Gunstocks out of California, which I don't think is still in business. Balance is damn near perfect, with a great trigger pull. Scope is a Weaver 2-8x mounted in Leupold dual dovetail rings, with a 12" barrel. I've owned a couple T/C Contenders in 7mm TCU, including a carbine, but haven't loaded for the round in at least a decade. In fact, I think I got rid of the die set when I traded off the barrel, so it looks like I will be ordering another set soon.

Don't really plan on hunting with it, just mainly a toy to shoot off the bench....should be a lot of fun!

Called Remington earlier, the XP100 was manufactured in December of '77....which means it almost certainly left as a .221 Fireball.
