I just picked up a used Fierce Edge in 28 Nosler from Cabelas. Came with a Nikon Black X1000 6-24x50 scope. The gun and scope are in excellent condition. The gun handles well, and the action is super smooth. The scope isn't the best glass in the world, but most users report the scope functions well and is perfectly serviceable. Can't wait to get this new rig out and start shooting it.

I contacted Fierce a couple of times asking for a copy of the factory test target, but no response. Anyone know what factory ammo Fierce used to produce their factory test targets for their 28 Nolser guns?

Finally got through to a person, Shane, at Fierce. Shane said they don't retain any records for the test targets, but their two usual factory loads for their 28 Nosler rifles are:

Nosler Trophy Grade 160 gn Accubond (https://shop.nosler.com/trophy-grade-28-nosler-160-grain-accubond-ammo-20ct.html)

Hornady Precision Hunter 162 gn ELD-X (https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/rifle/28-nosler-162-eld-x-precision-hunter#!/)
I hope this rifle works out for you.
Their customer service is pretty poor. I am surprised somebody answered the phone. I called about ten times to get info on scope bases for their new carbon rival. They couldn’t/wouldn’t tell me the pattern. They only said I suggest you buy one off our website. Considerable time wasted for nothing. I was not any better off than before my call. I did learn on my own that rem 700 with 8-40 screws fit it. I emailed many times before on other items and never received a response back. From what I have seen the rifles seem to perform quite well though. Hope yours shoots to your liking. The new carbon rival is guaranteed 1/2” but they don’t shoot it or provide target any longer. Cost savings on is the reason on that particular model.
Got a grouch on the phone when asking about scope bases. Kind of intended to order a rifle. But, I will never deal with them now.

Should do at least 3/8 inch at 100 yards for three shot group.

When something like this happens, call Talley in South Carolina. They know what base fits what rifle almost off the top of their head. Plus their customer service is second to none.
I’ve had good experience with Talley also.
