Love the lightweight and looks of this rifle. Has any one bought one and rung it out for accuracy. 6.5 Creedmoor.

What are your thoughts? Winner,,,,,,,,Loser

I've been shooting one a while now. Not sure how many rounds I've put through it but it was very accurate with a load from another rifle. Stacks bullets, very easy to shoot, and the stock adjustability is nice. Trigger can be set fairly light. Bolt is very smooth with great feeding. Folding stock locks up very nicely....but honestly I doubt I'll fold it much. It is heavier than I prefer when compared to light weight bolt guns....it's not a heavy rifle but the weight is kinda noticeable when you're used to light weight Kimber and Fieldcraft bolt guns.

In the end, it's not my cup of tea, but it's no fault of the rifle. I'll likely hunt with it a few times this Fall/Winter just to see.

I made a few posts in the other Cross thread, but I love mine, it can be adjusted to fit anyone well, and they are very accurate in both 308 and 6.5.

This....exactly. Rumor has is that Gen 2 is in the works with more chamberings and a lighter platform. If they shave a pound or two off and go with the mag bolt face I'll probably go in for round 2.

I've not had mine long and am just getting around to shooting it more than establishing a zero. I'd suggest a fatter cheek rest (or optional modules) and a slimmer barrel contour with the threaded flare-out like a Fieldcraft. That's about all I'd change.

The feller that set up their prototype machine shop and universal receivers has been fooling with it for awhile. I wonder if they will release their 277 Fury with the steel based brass. Supposed to handle 80,000 lbs.Walt came to the Shilen Swap Meet earlier this year and we visited.
