M4 bottom metal - Rem. 700 ? - 10/18/21
Bought a new stock for my 700 6.5x47L , it's a LRC thumbhole from Stocky's $219 + $20 for the Strata camo .
Looks to be a copy of a Manners EH-5 .
Bought BDL bottom metal -M-4- plus kit spring/mag box/screws , the hinged floor plate is unfinished aluminum . It's all they had , I'd much prefer Steel on this already heavy rifle .
With the slightest torqueing of the Action screws the hinged foorplate wouldn't latch - so I added washers front & back under the hinged floorplate . Once it is opened it won't re-latch - the door isn't hitting the Stock anywhere .
Anybody have any advice other send it back - I already know that part .
