I've got a Sako L579. The maximum cartridge overall length I can use in it is 2.81". Has anyone been successful in extending the magazine box in an L579? Around 2.91" COAL would be fine.

Anything can be done but I wouldn’t go to the effort
I personally never fount a rifle I couldn’t get to shoot at magazine length
