I just picked up a Shot Show special M70 Featherweight in 257 Roberts. Rifle and 200 rounds of ammo for $1000. Been looking for one of these for a while. I have one in 7x57 as well. I have a fixed 4x on hand, but may try to find a 6x. Pretty excited! I’ll get some pics up when I get it all put together.

I bought mine about 20+ years ago for $450... Next year, passed on its twin for the same price.. Been kicking myself in the arse ever since... Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Just got back from vacation and put it all together. Mounted a Leupold 4x33 in low DD mounts and rings. If only they’d stop putting their logo on the top ring.



Matches my 7x57 real nice. I may switch scopes and put the 6x36 on the 257.

That is certainly a great combination. I have a .257 in a Ruger Hawkeye that I love. Everyone likes shooting that rifle.
