Would anybody have the correct length of the .257 110 grain TGK and the correct length of the plastic tip please? I just measured the .257 110 ELD-X and got 1.228" and 0.14" respectively which is different than what appears on JBM bullet length list. I want to see if G1 bc is effected at 29.0 Hg and 29.92 Hg in a 10 twist. Thanks.
I get 1.249” overall, and tip somewhere in the 0.210” - 0.220” range.
Thanks Drano 25 for that information.
You’re welcome
Sierra says 1.237
That's the problem, different sites say different things. I tend to trust someone such as Drano 25 who actually measures one, rather than what a site says. When I measured the 110 Hornady ELD-X it was different to what was posted somewhere.
My apologies, I should have been more specific: I called Sierra Bullets Tech Support earlier today and the gentleman told me that Sierra chooses not to publish or post projectile lengths however he said he will furnish that info to me on the phone: the .257 110-grain Tipped Game King bullet has a drawn or finished length of 1.237-inches. Just in case you choose to believe that, I also inquired as to the length of the .264 caliber bullets and was told that the 130-gr TGK was 1.373-inches and that the 140-gr TGK was 1.437-inches.

If Sierra Tech Svcs is not considered to be knowledgeable or reliable, then who can you believe?
Thanks Offshoreman...I assumed that it was just posted on a website. Often websites have errors. Thanks for asking about the .257 110 TGK.
I measured one with calipers. I wouldn’t be too surprised if 1.237” is the nominal length on the drawing and 1.249” is toward the upper end of the allowable tolerance.
That might be the case.
