The German 7x57 started out with a .495" length throat in 1892. What's in your rifle?

M93 Ovideo 7x57 .370". Haven't measured my M77 7x57 but it was pretty damned long also...mb
I had a Ruger #1A 7x57 with a 2.5" throat. Ruger replaced the barrel. Still has a long throat but withing specs. Rifle shoots just fine now with select handloads.

Throat length has shrunk as shown in many modern rifles.
