Sorry! Couldn't resist! 😂😇
Do they give a price break if you order a whole case?
They're actually good on prices most of the time... this just struck me funny. I'm guessing an algorithm decided this price based on inventory, availability, etc. I wonder if a real person even knows that's what it's listed at.
Tempting.
Wont ship to Canada. Too bad!
$65.55 per box would make more "sense" smirk
ammoshop.com 6.5 x 55 norma 140 gr nosler partition 24.99
Very High Grade
Anybody have 7 MM Mag on sale?
This. Cheaper than Partitions as components.

Edit
A couple of months ago a bunch of us bought that ammo, can't believe they still have it in stock. I bought two cases myself. Having a case of Norma 120gr. Bt and these two, I found I didn't need to handload either. I sold my uprimed brass.

The 140 Partiion load was very close to advertised velocity and shot sub inch groups from my Tikka.
It's still around at a couple places.
What a deal [sarcasm]. Wonder what they would charge for .348 Winchester ammo? Yikes!

I'm not seeing "partition", just 140grain soft point flat base Nosler. Still a good deal all around. I have 200 Prvi partisans I bought to shoot and have the brass or I would be all over this.
These specifically say partition. Have bought from them before. Legit store. https://rivertownmunitions.com/prod...40-grain-partition-soft-point-20-rd-box/
The add doesn't say partition, but it is. I've bought two cases of it, all partitions.
I just ordered 4 boxes from Rivertownmunitions.com same price and SKU #. Rivertowns ad states Partition.
The Norma 140 gr. Partition load - is a discontinued offering.

Get it while it lasts.

Thanks. I never buy factory ammo. Except today.

If anybody stumbles across a couple/three boxes of .338WM... please drop me a PM.

Trying to help out a fella.

Thanks.

That 6.5x55 deal is AMAZING!

Yep.

Too good to pass up.

140 gr. NP's, at SE velocity, and Norma quality load and brass.

GR
I went back and checked my range notes for the Norma 140gr. Partition ammo. Using a Pact chrono at 12ft. that load went 2671 fps. The listed velocity on the box is 2690 fps. I got 3/4 inch groups. These were shot through my T3.

I bought two cases and I'm trying hard to talk myself out of buying another one.

Should put it at or over spec from a 24" Bbl.

Thanks.

Just for the heck of it, I checked the Nosler load data.

https://www.nosler.com/65-55-swedish-mauser

Seem like the Norma ammo is loaded to a decently strong load level.

Norma - loads to the C.I.P. 55K PSI, unlike the pathetic American (SAAMI) 51K PSI.

Results in ~ an extra 150 fps, and puts it on par w/ the 6.5 CM.

And if Norma uses their own load tables?

... could be 47.4 grns. of MRP.

GR
This stuff is "the Song of the Sirens" at $24.50/20 box.

Been lookin' for quite a while for a good "SE" field load...

This one looks to be outstanding.

Here it is, albeit dressed in short pants (CM), Point Blank range and 400 Yds.:

Received my order of 4 boxes today. Dang good-looking ammo.

FTR I ordered from Rivertown Munitions Same price and SKU#but the shipping was 4.00 less than Ammo shop.

Rivertown also had several varieties of that bastard child 6.5 (Creedmoor) if anyone is looking. Decent pricing also.

Confirmed/Completed/Shipped w/ tracking# same day, w/ email notifications.

A very easy outfit to do business w/.

Norma stuff is traditionally more expensive than domestic.

Interesting that they are often the cheapest ammo in an Ammo Seek
search now.

Simple, supply greater than demand. If it's a conspiracy to lower ammo prices I'm all for it!

1. Norma - has dumped their American bullet lines, like this 6.5x55 SE Partition load, so it's showing up at liquidation prices.
2. The Bi-Duh Democrat National Socialist/Communist Coup Regime is not running the Swedish Economy, so Norma's competitively priced field ammo... is.

GR
They bailing on our market?

That's happened before if I remember right.

Just our bullets.

Think they are using all Norma bullets now.

These older Nosler lines for sure are gone.

The Amazing "DEALS" of 6.5 x 55 ammo, is what I handload....
At current component prices I'm not sure you could hand load cheaper than these...

Yea, this is kind of what I was getting at... much as it's nice to be able to reload during shortages and panics, every once in a while the factory ammo just makes more financial sense.

with components that I bought under the Trump Administration....

I CAN load it cheaper than I can buy, regardless of pricing from most sources.
😂
ordered a few boxes. now, if i could only find a few boxes of the 120 grain ballistic tip ammo. anybody got any leads on such an animal?
Big Ed
It was easy to grab a few boxes for that price.
The stuff looks like jewelry.

Goin'ta be tough to shoot it.

Looked high-n-low for this stuff... and then it falls into my lap on clearance.

Unbelievable.

GR
Still several cases left.

Amazing.
