I recently purchased a new Weatherby Vanguard S2 in 308. I also had a new Bell & Carlson stock to suit which I wanted to put to good use Yesterday I fitted the new rifle with a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40 in old style Burris rings & Leupold bases. I reckon it came up pretty damn good. Here's some pics.

I picked up a Vanguard select in 308 for my nephew, loaded him up some 150gr TTSXs, and he’s been killing stuff with it ever since. Might get him one of those B&C stocks for Christmas.

Seems like I have a closet full of factory stocks that gave way to a B&C medalist replacement.......

Any ideas on how best to get rid of them?

oh contact guys like me who would be interested if the price was right....

guys who have Howas with the Hogue stock, would probably like the stock upgrade....

I like the Hogue Stock, but I LOVE the Weatherby Vanguard stocks all the more.

Fine looking rifle. I've owned 2 s2 Weatherbys, one in 30-06 and another in 6.5 Creedmoor. Excellent shooters. Gave them to a sil and a grandson. Your 308 is the perfect "one rifle for everything " enjoy!
