So my mom and dad's hunting days are over, and I am going through some of their guns. Came across this one I forgot he had...a very nice, engraved, Belgian made Browning 22LR, Model 22. Can someone tell me what I've got and maybe about what's it's worth?

It's got a scuff on the stock, wondering how hard this would be to fix?

It's a Grade II Browning SA22. Not sure what prices are these days. Here is one

From what I’ve seen you’re going to be north of $1500 - the scuff will affect the value. If you have a Browning case and if you have a “wheel” rear sight you’ll add $$ (I couldn’t see the rear sight clearly in your photo but it doesn’t look like you have it). Personally I wouldn’t sell for less than $1800. These are nice hand engraved rifles that do have a following. The scuff can be repaired by a skilled stock man…….but the cost will be dear (it will likely require finish stripping and refinish and possibly recutting if the checkering - can’t tell from picture if it could be polished out - which would save $$). Nice rifle!!
