I had my eye out for one of these in 30-06 or 308 but I don't recall ever seeing them on the auction sites. And now they're listed as discontinued. Is there a way to look up production numbers?

If memory serves, Browning was notorious for "releasing" new firearms which never made it to the production line.

Ruger is pretty bad about that, as well as discontinuing failed models quickly and also advertising a rifle 2-3 years before you could actually buy it.

I have seen and held two of them one in 6.5 PRC and 300 Win mag last year.

I just checked the dealers website and he must have sold them.

Think there are a few on GB; assume you want the wood model.
