Does anyone know if the stock on the Tike BigBore is the same synthic as the regular T3. As far as I see they want a extra $100 for the 19" barrel on the Big Bore.

Same, same. Barrel length is the ONLY difference. Only benefit I can see is to the hearing aid manufacturers.

You can order any of the T3s with open sights.

I once owned the little blue steel/wood Rem model 7 in 308 with 18 inch barrel, I will never own a gun with a barrel that short again. Killed more deer with that gun...but it was the absolute loudest rifle in the woods. If you are looking to shoot it a lot be sure that you wear good hearing protection.

My 18-inch .308 Mauser carbine has an HK G3 flash hider on it.
