I was at the local gunshop today, Larrys Pistol and Pawn, in Hsv. and I saw a couple of interesting rifles. The first was a camo-laminate stock on a rifle version of the Browning BuckMark pistol. It was really light and felt nice at the shoulder. I got to looking at it though and did not feel really comfortable with the slide eating my nose. Anyone have one of these yet?

The second rifle was not a .22 but a .243 and was a Kimber. I had a very pale stock on it that looked like Oak. Is this right? I sure did like the stock.

Had a chance to shoot one of the CZ bolt action 22s. A very nice rifle. They come in two models. The American model has a 28" barrel, and the Euro has a 30". Both have very nice blueing and respectable wood. The trigger is fully adjustable and comes with a 50m test target. All for $209 for the American and $259 for the Euro. A great value for the money. I am impressed.

Someone on here bought a Buckmark carbine. Maybe Flinch? Can't remember but it seems like they were pretty happy with it.

Are you sure about the barrel lengths ? There is no reason for a 28" or 30" barrel on a 22lr.

I check the cz web site and the barrels are only 22.5" :

GB,

Where did you find the American for $209? That's cheaper than I have found anywhere.

Hooeey!! I second mrfudd, Georgia Boy. That's quite a deal on the American. Where'd you see it?
