Howdy all,
I want to duracoat one of my montana's and thinking about going with a tan or brown stock and dull black on the metal wanted to see a few pics to see if I can bring my self to painting one.
Thx.
Not a 84M but this is what I got. The brown stock rifle is a 300wsm Montana.

The same rifle AFTER a classy Rick Bin paint job:

More Kimbers painted by friends. My .243 Montana is on the left. The other two are homegrown paint jobs, and very well done.

I will try and get a photo, but a friend of mine covered his 84M .308 MT stock in Rhino Liner (yes the Truck bed liner) and it looks great. The stock kept getting scratched up so he sprayed on the Rhino Liner. Honestly, it looks good plus the testured surface makes it nice in rough weather. You would think it would be too rough but it is just enough, plus looks cool.
To complicate things further for you. Going to use one of these when I figure out which one I want. $85
