I think somebody should buy this before I do. I was not aware Savage has a custom shop or made a 7x57. Should be very accurate.I know some of you don't care for Savage's but some of the most accurate rifle's I have ever shot has been a Savage.

There is an article in the March 2011 "Shooting Times" about the ability of Savage to build a "made to order gun."

Back in the late 1980s, Savage made the 110 WLE (Walnut-Limited-Edition) in 7x57.

MidwaysUSA used to have Savage specs A&B barrels in 7x57. I bought 1 last summer and put it on a Marlin XL-7 for a knock-about 7x57 shooter.

I just might buy that rifle. Don't bid against me guys without letting me know how much you really want it.

that's a lot of money for a $300 Savage.

Every blue moon I encounter a Savage Chieftain in 7x57
with DBM. I believe these were made in the 70s or 80s.

that one has an accutrigger, so it is at least a little newer than the 70's, and they are a little more than $300.

Also, you don't need a Fararri, you can buy a Chevette and drive around real fast.
