I just scoped up my new Tikka T3 Lite LH SS in 270win. I've had a few issues mounting scopes on my last couple rifles and was very pleased with how well this set-up went together.
The DNZ mounts appear to be very well made, fit and finish is impressive, not only to the receiver but with the scope as well. If they hold as well it seems they will, I will definitely be using them again in the future.
I cant find my scale since we moved in only a few weeks ago and things arnt quite back to normal yet, but it feels like a nicely balanced and fairly lightweight setup with the vx-II 2-7x33 on top. It will be my rifle for mule deer this season (provising it shoots as well as my last Tikka) so I will be taking it to range very soon.
Anyway, just wanted to pass on what a great fit the DNZ mounts seem to be with the Tikka T3, as far as fit and finish go, they are superb. My last T3 had the Talley LW'w and they worked fine but I think I like these better, so far anyway...

Love them, the only change I made was to open them up to the 8x40s. With the Tikka being a flat top that was a piece of cake to do, I run a 30mm tube and like the idea of a little more shear strength of the 8x40s.

Let us know how they work out. They do look a little strange.

By the way, the rifle's backwards.

I really like DNZ mounts, however, I think they ruined them by stamping their name in huge letters on top of the rings.

DNZ have become my 1st choice in mounts.

DNZ has become my go-to mount for Tikka and a few other guns as well. The price to quality ratio is off the charts.

From my experience with both Talley and DNZ mounts on a Tikka I found I had to run a lapping bar so the scope sat correctly using Talley Lightweights. I had no problem with the DNZ's concerning alignment and to date after using them on Browning,CVA,Remington Rifles no issues. They are about an 1 hour drive from my home and their Customer Service is superb.

Im just glad Tikka is one of the few manufactures offing and an "all weather" option for lefties.

Agreed, especially on the Tikka because of the flat surface area on the top of the reciever. The DNZ matches up very well with the Tikka. I went with Talley LW's for the rem700 XCR.

They must have started doing that recently..I have had a few sets and none had that "Feature"

if only they weren't so damned ugly. why would anyone make a ring 1/4in thick. i hate the looks of them. my factory tikka rings seem to work fine after i replaced the screws in them.

I agree on the ugly! I'm sure they work well but they're too bulky looking.

I use the DNZ on two of my tikkas and they are rock solid with perfect alignment(no lapping). They are a little thick looking and the DNZ stamp is kind of tacky, but they work wonderfully. The tikka plastic stocks aren't the greatest looking anyways, so it doesn't really ruin the look for me. I like that it is one unit so you know both rings are in line and have no movement between them.
