Picking this up as trade fodder for something else, need an idea on value. Its a Remington 700 BDL in .270. Brand new Camo Stock, and comes with rings/bases and a really nice Bushnell Sportview rangefinding scope. I'm thinking it should be worth around the $400-$500 mark. It looks (from the tiny pics) to be in pretty good shape, maybe needs some cleaning.

Any idea on value?
You'd be better of to keep it & sell your off brands. If he has the old stock try to get it. A new 700 BDL in walnut brings $800.00 at Academy Sports. I think you're close on the price depending on condition.
Picked it up tonight. Turns out its an ADL, but still nice. He had the old stock, although it does have an aftermarket (although well installed) recoil pad. The camo stock is a Ram Line and is nearly new, that should bring $50 or so itself. Has Leupold bases, came with a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40, but I'm keeping that. Gun is in excellent shape with only a little bit of bolt scuffing and some light nicks on the stock.

Paid $350 for the gun, bases, scope, sling, original stock, Ram line synthetic and some various ammo rounds. Looking to trade into what I want pretty easily. I'm figuring value of around $500-$600 for the gun and 2 stocks and bases. I'll post pics tomorrow for a more accurate value.
Sounds like you did very well. I actually like the walnut stocked ADLs better than the BDLs and CDLs.

I don't think you can improve on what you have. I'd put the Ram-line on eBay.
no,hunt with the ramline and just keep the walnut stock incase you want to resell the gun later. no sense beating up the good one ,when you have a spare.
^ and ^^, I may have not said it correctly, but I have no intention of keeping the rifle. I already have my hunting rigs (Marlin 336, AR-15, FN .308), no use for this one. I'm simply picked this up to use as trade fodder for other things.
Sounds like you need a hunting rifle.
