I handled An A bolt today with a 26" barrel in 2506 today thought it A 24" till i saw the end of the box.Then saw a bunch on Gun Broker with the long tube in a std. cal. Is this a special run of rifles or is it going to be standard now?

My last Abolt in 25-06(composite Stalker) had a 24" barrel. Must be something new or on a special run.

Deleted, no need to continue the Browning bashing. They are usually accurate. If yu can't say something nice....

Who is bashing? The last abolt I bought was a 25-06. Since that time I have purchased an Xbolt in 7mm-08.

There is a retailer in Minnesota selling A-bolt Medallions with 26 inch tubes at $549. These are apparently a special run. They are supposed to be getting some .264's in the future.
