What's the correct inch pounds for the Montana's.
5 more than loose, and 5 less than BLEW torque
65 inch pounds, per Kimber customer service.
I recall being told 45 in/lb front and 35 in/lb rear. Can't recall the source of that, but it's what I've used with no issues.
Mine only threads in just shy of two turns so I'm a bit scared to put lots on it
Wheeler Torque Wrench - set my screws at 50 front and rear.

Ken
I was told when I called Kimber to use 45in/lb for the front and 35 in/lb rear.

65 in/lbs is what Remington recommends for their rifles with aluminum bedding block, I wouldnt go that far on a Montana.
Kimber customer service must be hit or miss I called yesterday and the guy told me 60 inch pounds and tighten the front screw first. WTF
Maybe the action type/length matters? Mine is an 84M.
I asked that specific question the rep said it did not matter between the 84M and the 84L.
