Sako's website states that quality aftermarket steel bases are widely avaliable. All I was able to find is Warne 2pcs. I'd like to find something similar to the original with two cross slots on each bases.
Any of you changed the factory bases out for something sturdier? Please, post picture, if it is not too much trouble. Thanks: pigster
I am pretty Sure that the A7 uses the same bases as a Browning A-bolt.
Hamrick nailed it. Search for a-bolt bases. You'll find many options.

+2 I use Talley Lightweights and so far so good
Thank you all. Indeed a lot more options with the Abolt.
This is my favorite Sako rifle model because you can buy Talley lightweight ringmounts that actually screw into the reciever not the cheesy clamp-on scope mounting system the 75/85 series rifles use......Make sure and check out the Talkey's before you buy........Good luck......Hb
Sent you a PM.

I have a new set of Talley lightweights if you're interested.
PM sent.
