Franklins in Athens? That was my home town gun shop, used to go there all the time before Clyde Armory came in.

There are a couple B-14s in 6.5 CM at my local sportsmans warehouse that have been there a while, although I did hear another customer buy one last time I was there. The Bergara's ought to shoot well, but there aren't many owner reviews out there yet. I'm interested to see what kind of performance folks get out of their B-14 6.5 CM's.

I'm gonna take the Bergara plunge as well. However, I'm gonna order the B-16 (Premier Series Stalker) in 280 Ackley.

There are a lot of great choices well under that price range.

I haven't handled one but from the description they sound like a cross between a Savage and a TC Venture.

Picked up a B14 synthetic at my local Sportsman's warehouse today for 699.00 in 6.5 creedmore. Waiting on DNZ mounts. Very impressed with the quality of this gun so far.

I held one recently and was very impressed with the quality. I think I just found a great rifle for my daughters at 700 smacks.
