Seems like a lot for the $$$...tempted to pick on up for my fast twist 22-250 on order at Whittakers:

I bought a Boyd's Classic for my Winchester Model 70. I really like it. My only regret is that I didn't have it checkered at the factory. It feels pretty slick and I am concerned about shooting offhand in rain and/or snow. Going to try some different types of gloves to see if that helps. Might send it back for that but otherwise very happy. My rifle shoots much tighter groups with the new stock over the old plastic stock. It is heavier but that shouldn't be a big problem.

Checkering on laminate is generally well worth the extra cost.
Other than being butt ugly I think that is a lot of features for the price. I would compare it to a standard stock plus the cost of the hardware. I bet the package will be lower in price especially if you don't put it together yourself.

HAHA...not worried about the ugly coloring thats just a rattle can away. The adjustable LOP and cheek piece seems interesting, flush cups is kinda cool too. Could care less really how it looks more interested in how it works. smile
I've been wondering about this aswell. Mostly concerned about how much it weighs considering its being billed as dual purpose for target rifle AND hunting. Wondering if it would add any more than a standard Boyd's.
Interesting you should ask. Just had one show up on the door step today for a CZ 527. Put her together a short period of time. To be done right she will do well to be glass bedded. As for the glass bedding, this is essentially considered a big step up with any stock. Would recomend calling in your order as some of the forearm & palm swell options are not fully supported on the web site just yet.

Had very little time with the stock to date. Thus far I am pleasantly satisfied with a lot of features for the dollar. I feel the adjustable length of pull and the adjustable cheek weld will be greatly appreciated. Feel you would be hard pressed to put together a lighter package with the adjustable features.

Again I have had very little time with this stock. At this point my greatest concern is wear in the mechanisims in time. So far so good. I do not find this blue sky Butt ugly at all, matter of fact I like the appearance. The sharp not rounded off corners and lines I feel may get some attention before long on this at one stock. As for the glass bedding I may have to wait to see which rifle ends up in this chassy, full time
