I just came across one this evening - I spotted it as soon as I walked through the door - - -
Beautiful figured Turkish walnut full stock and in perfect condition.
$524 !!! and I'm trying to figure out how I can get the $$$ before it's gone.

Already have a CZ 452 full stock bolt action in .22 LR, that is (for me) my most accurate firearm.
P_Weed - IF you are a fan of the classic FS look (as I am) then pull the trigger on this deal. I have a 452FS in .22LR and a 550FS in 6.5 Swede. They go nicely together. Homesteader
Just remember that the short-action 550's have a detachable box magazine. That can be a deal-breaker for some folks.
Okie John
Neat rifle. I wouldn't want one in .243 though. I'd have it bored out to 7mm-08, .308, .338 Federal or .358 Win.
I couldn't put it on lay-away because our Gander Mountain store is sadly closing - but I did get (wife's) permission to put it on
our credit card.
But it's mine now and I think it's perfect !
Nice rifle buy it or you will regret it lol
As long as you like it, that's what's important, right?
I saw the CZ 550 FS at Gander Mountain a couple weeks ago or more, priced a lot higher and I would have bought it then,
but since retirement, my gun money is usually trades or selling something I can bear to part with.
As lay-away was not available because of the store closing - I didn't dare put it on our credit card.
Finding it still there at THAT price, I got on the phone and made a deal with a friend for a Vaquero he's
long wanted along with soon payment to cover the credit card charge on the rifle - and keep peace in the family.
I never looked at the bore or anything - I just wanted it. I showed it to another friend and he's scrutinizing it
thoroughly, and asked if I've shot it? I said, 'No.' - He said, 'I don't think anyone else has either!'
I have some other CZ rifles (and pistols) but I've always wanted a quality CZ full stock rifle like this.
I may have chosen another caliber if I had a choice - but am still happy with the .243.
