What kind of rings are those?

Dunno, thats what was on it when my old man bought it years ago... they might/could be old talleys?? The rifle was made in 67 I believe... always loved that rifle, old man gave it to me about a year ago. Gonna see some Muley/antelope action...

Great pic AND caliber! Don't see many of them. Hopefully I will get to pick up my #1 in the next 2-3 weeks. Haven't owned one in years. It is pretty plain also, and in 22/250. Looking forward to seeing everyone's #1's.

Judman...beautiful stock like so many of the early models! What are you planning on shooting in it for mulies/antelope?

Those are the original rings as designed bu Leonard Brownell. I think they only made them.that way for a year or ywo.

Dunno yet. A pard has had excellent results with the Winchester 45 gr hp on bucks and elk.... yes elk.

Sadly the only pic I have of a beautiful 1S .300 H&H... Needless to say the 150 AB made fine medicine for this muley at a whopping 35 yards...
