It took me a while to get on the bandwagon, unless Sako goes bankrupt I will buy more of them.

I have never had to send one in . That said I have had every CS issue addressed by Beretta all of them with shotguns.

With a new barrel.... a new stock.... some ‘Smith Work.... and a new trigger.... it might be as light and accurate as a Tikka too.

All of 'em wear 16bore's dad's Talleys. Not one shoots bigger than .7" groups all day. Usually a lot smaller.

I got smart this year and sold my magnum Tikkas and replaced with the exact same rifles chambered in the 308 family.
We shall see how smart that was next year.
Tikka 1:8 223 and SWFA set up is my favorite....

I usually handle any of our Tikka issues if/when they rarely arise. I don't use their customer service, nor do I expect my customers to do so. If you have a problem with a Tikka you bought from us, I resolve it. End of story. I fight the battle on my end and I get to make you smile.
I've been beating a blued Tikka T3 in 25 06 for 4 seasons now. I can find no fault in that rifle period. Accurate and tough. I'd highly recommend a Tikka to anyone. Best bang for your dollar easily.
Tikka 1:8 223 and SWFA set up is my favorite....
+1
If we are talkin favorite Tikka's, I like a T3x Lite SS in .300 Win then I like to add some Mountain Tactical bottom metal and a stainless bolt shroud from Glades Armory and some stainless torx action screws...Mountain Tactical is taking pre-orders for some cool looking aluminum magazines that will be out soon that i am going to try......Tikka's are the chit!.....Hb
I sold all my Tikkas and stopped watching TV.

I gave away all my tv's and just handload for my Tikka's.
Love my T3s. Used to be a Remington guy. Only own two of those now. The old and good ones.
T3s are lighter and always shoot great.
But I also love my Kimber Montanas.

You can only read about success so many times before you have to see for yourself what all that rave is about! I went with the twisted tikkas
223 8 twist with a SWFA 10X is by far my favorite
6.5X55 8 twist with a SWFA 6X is nipping its heels
Both in Stainless

My only mistake was 10xMD instead of 6xMQ. No takers for a swap either!

Darrik, you are a rare jewel brother. I'd love to have a shop like yours down here.
Three 7 Rem mags, 22/250, 243, 25/06, 30/06, 300 WSM, 338 Win Mag...........Yep,I like them.

You forgot RL-26........
Those three have made up most threads on the 'fire this year.
Well, except for the Boobs & Politics forum.........
If you search the internet even minimally you will find posts denouncing just about every affordable rifle, handgun, shotgun and optic as being not as good as claimed because theirs was a POS. So goes it with my beloved Tikka. I researched my Tikka purchase for months prior to buying and found reviews running about 95-98% favorable. No other sub $1000 let alone $800 rifle I can remember ever having that level of satisfaction from it's buyers. That is why I bought one. The purpose behind my purchase was to build very lite weight an affordable medium long range hunting rifle.
Well now people are espousing the famous internet term "The Fatal Flaw" of a potentially week aluminum recoil lug in rifles cambered for magnum calibers. I also spent the same amount of time researching the optic it would wear and got a great deal on a Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15x42 with the RZ600 reticle. Sure enough I now find people claiming the HD5 can not withstand magnum recoil and will fail in relatively few firings. Lastly brass for the 300wsm is not all that available so I bought what I could find that being mostly Winchester brass, which is often decried as garbage.
Well my so far my rifle and my scope are around 500 rounds old with zero issues and my reloads using Winchester brass are maintaining 1.5 MOA or better out to 500 yard, and I'm absolutely certain as my level of longer range shooting experience increases (shot to 500 only once so far) my groups will shrink accordingly. So much for internet lore.
Now before anyone starts, I know Winchester brass will NEVER be the equal of Lapua or Norma and I admit there are reasons why competitive shooters, especially long range shooters rave about Lapua and Norma brass, but for my present application, Winchester and Hornady brass have served me very well.
You owe yourself a fast twist 223
I hear ya brother. We'll see how we come out of the Holidays. Sounds like a nice winter project.
SWFA and you'll shoot the hell out of it.

Reality sure ain't safe
My B-I-L bought a Tikka .308 this last year. Lots of plastic but after shooting it I was sold. Nice rifle for the guy looking for an inexpensive tool to get the job done.
