$499 msrp. Whitaker's better order a 1000 of em!
Finally we can talk about something other than creeeeeedmoor
Haha and 16bore is on the "purge" and can't buy one!
Knowing Tikka, it will probably be built on an '06 length action...
Tikka is making rimfire rifles?
Nice I might be in for one if Whitakers gets them
Those look pretty nice. I like it . Could see a 22LR becoming my new chicken gun
And Beretta wont import lefties, most likely
I’ll be ordering plenty....
Any idea of when they'll be hitting market? I was thinking about getting a Ruger American rimfire but this changes everything

No definite time frame. They weren’t even supposed to be announced for 18 more days!
Just had a Browning BL22 delivered two days ago. I don't see a need.
I’ll be ordering plenty....
Do you know if a 22MAG will be offered? I could be replacing my 640 Chuckster.

I saw a picture you posted. Nice rifle! There is something about quality lever rimfires that draw my interest.

It’s not in the original release. I really don’t know much about the rifle though. I just know I want one!
Well phuqq me sideways.....
And to think, a 17 hummer was on my Christmas list and I didn’t get one yet....
I hope they end up offereing this in 22 mag! I have about 5,000 rounds of CCI Maxi’s ready to go!
22LR, 223, 308 (or CM, '06, whatever)
Trifecta......
Might have to sell the RAR.
Not too fond of the mag sticking out.
Would have been awesome if we could use ruger rotary or their 30 round .
One can dream.
Oh ya I'll be buying one for sure. If it shoots like every other Tikka, Ruger, Savage, CZ etc should be very worried.
Knowing Tikka, it will probably be built on an '06 length action...
With a 3-shot mag.
Okie John
I'm interested, particularly if the barrel isn't too heavy.
I dont need one as I have a nice 77/22 but this liiks like something i'll have to get anyhow.
The Teeka T3 is starting to grow on me as I narrow my list of potential .223's. But I don't know if I could do the mag out the bottom on a rimfire unless it's a old classic made in the U.S.A. walnut stocked long shiny sporter barreled rifle.

Lmao!!!........Hb

I agree.....Damnit!.....Lol...Hb

Indeed!
I didn't expect my pious herd thinning efforts to be destroyed until SHOT Show.
Only thing that could more tempting would be a Barrett Fieldcraft Rimfire w easily swapped cals/barrels and set up for Ruger mags!

Compelling stuff Sam
Nice. Would make a great trainer! Hope they promptly bring out a flush fit magazine.
Street price around $400? It sure beats what Ruger wants for their 77/22 and it's probably a lot more accurate. I have Ruger American rimfires in .22LR and .17HMR, but I'd be all over that Tikka for $400.
Tikka must know that expectations are very high for this rimfire based on how they have taken over the CF market.
If they can come in at cz 455 pricing or less they will be a big success. I'll be watching them with interest.
If they get the trigger, mounting options, and accuracy right there might be another 22LR shortage.
Hmmm, I've got an A-Bolt .22 LR but this sure is tempting. Wouldn't have to baby that as much.
Have 2 Abolt .22's and accuracy is lacking. With an Anschutz 54 in the lineup it's probably unfair expectations.
I would like to see one in a 17 wsm! With Tikka getting in the rimfire market I'm curios as to what Sako has up their sleeve?
Bring back the original finnfire with no plastic parts.
Ohhhhhh.
I could see one of these in .17 showing up here. As long as spare magazines don’t cost a hundred bucks!
22 Mag and a 17 wsm would be handy
I don't need a .17
I don't need a .17
I don't need a .17
I don't need a .17
I don't need a .17
I don't need a .17

I don't need a .17
There, I feel better.

They just gave us permission to do a pre-sale. I'll post it in the rimfire forum in a bit.

Hate you.
Any word on the mounting system for these things?
Not yet, but I'll know something today and post it in the thread. It's now open in the Rimfire Forum. I expect to see your name first Bobby!
If I didnt already have a great shooting Ruger 77/22 VBBZ...Id have to get the tikka...I'm a fan!

Quit fighting it and buy one. At least it's not a creedmoor.
I want one of those too......😉
What kind of Mags? Proprietary? Detachable?

Agreed. I spoke with someone at CZ a couple years ago, and was told they had looked into offering a .17WSM and couldn't get it to work with the 455 action.
If Tikka/Sako tooled up for an all-new rimfire action and didn't accommodate the WSM, that seems like a huge missed opportunity. I haven't really been OCDing the topic lately, but I'm not aware of any rifles for the cartridge in between the Savage (buddy picked one up for $165 after rebate on a Walmart sale at one point) and the Ruger 77/17, which MSRPs >$1000. That's a lot of room for someone like Tikka to play in the middle, and it could build a lot more interest in the cartridge. Could inject some life into it.

YOU SUCK!!!!!!
My hopes for it.
- Same trigger as T3
- Same dovetail/rail as T3
- Stainless
- Screwed in barrel
And.. if McMillan makes a stock for it.. it could be my new favorite 22lr
