Are the 120 and 140 constructed similar? In 7mm the 120’s has a substantially thicker jacket...

Thanks JG. I missed that in several queries....think I’ll add more 120’s to my order and less 140’s.....

in my experience the 120 grain bt in 6.5mm isn't as tough as the 7mm 120 grain bt. the cup and core separate in my independent testing when shot into water jugs at 50 yds to check penetration and expansion. shoot the 130 accubond or the 125 partition. they both held up well in my testing and will be what I shoot next fall in the deer woods.

I've loaded a number of the 6.5 120 BT that have been shot into deer at 260 Rem speeds and they were great on deer.

120 Gr. Bal. Tips are deadly on Antelope from a 260.
