Need some assistance with a sako finnbear l61r in 7mm mag .... The bolt has been misplaced , anyone have lead on where i can obtain one?
How did you lose the bolt, contact the factory?
The factory will not help as it is 40+ years old. I would check with GunBroker and other places like GunParts Corp. on a regular basis. Ask in the wanted section of GunBroker Forums. Best shot at finding one for sale. There are others but expect to pay upwards of 300 for a decent one.
Sako Collectors Club could provide assistance.

I didnt lose the bolt
Great idea! Having a spare bolt is like God putting nipples on a man “just in case”
Did you buy it wtlith a missing bolt. I bought one not long ago that slam fires. I guess someone was trying to make the trigger pull a little lighter.
To get a spare bolt, buy a used gun since a bolt price if found will be about the same price. Last one I saw was $ $650 . This way you can get a couple more spare parts!

Been searching ebay , i missed that 1
I’m repeating myself.
Sako Collectors Club.
They have parts and such for sale.
You my already know this, be careful on what bolt you buy even if you find one. A 3 lug L61R bolt will only go in a receiver design for a 3 lug bolt. Will not fit a 2 lug receiver. Read up on the 3 lug bolts, receivers and dates. Again, you probably already know this, get the bolt face ID preferably with photo of the caliper face when being measured by seller. A seller that will not do this, caveat emptor.
I hope you can find one, it may be a challenge.
My wife would ask” where did you have it last?”
Custom Shop ....Hamilton , Montana
You'll trip & fall over the original bolt the day the new bolt arrives .
Holy fudge. Got a couple guns i never use.
The bolt is worth more th an I bought the guns for 30 years ago.
Wonder what a boltless barreled action is worth?😁

Well it is a New Yawker that moved to Montana and is the GUN FATHER so there is the explanation of prices.

For an out-of-production rifle:
Value of rifle = value of boltless action = value of rifle bolt.
I was thinking about this a week ago, saw one on eBay I think.
