I just saw that Lipseys made a Ruger m77 RSI International Stainless In .223!

Does anyone here have one?

When were these released? Anyone?

Brand new, don't think they've even shipped yet.

I love these RSI Models.
Only one I currently have is a 77/22wmr. Always oogling them on gunbroker though.

Might have to pick this up for my kid.... Ill get a few years of it to myself until he is big enough.

If Zastava could figure out how to finish the stocks on their M85s, I think that the smaller action would make for a better balanced and handier package than the larger/heavier actions on the Ruger 77/Hawkeye mannlichers.

My wish is for them to go back to the M77 Mk II brushed stainless standard sporter. I liked them much better than the Hawkeye stainedalot. I have two; a 223 and a 308, but I could go for more.

What peep sight is that? And did you have to change out the front?

DrDeath, I cut up an XS Low Weaver Back-up sight and cobbled it on to a cut up Burris Ruger to Weaver adapter. And yes, I had to go to a taller front sight. RJ

Wow, I want one!

How loud or offensive would the muzzle blast be out of that little bugger? I have not shot a shorter barreled bolt rifle in 223.
If you have accuracy concerns with a Mannlicher have you tried the O-ring on the barrel trick? It goes behind the front sight a bit and gives a pressure point. It will take experimentation on o-ring size and position. But it is cheaper than anything else I can think of with a full stock. Good luck, and Be Well. Rusty

How many of these were made? I thought it was only 1000 … anyone know?
