We have a Ruger Model 77 with the milled receiver. Is there a picatinny rail available for this application? Thanks for any help! memtb
There's an EGW option that requires D&T. The receiver are dang hard but doable at home, or via a smith. I did it a couple of times and would plan on 4 taps for the four holes. Following advice I saw on Brownell's I used HSS taps so broken ones could be chipped out as needed. There's a clamp on unit, called a Wiggitinny? that I have not personally used, nor heard much good about that uses Ruger-like mounting. YRMV.

They end of higher than I like BTW.
Look at this:

I have one on a Hawkeye. (Top rifle)
