Probably that ugly ass thing Beretta came out with a while back. Did Remington ever put it in a pump or semiautomatic?

Remington made a police pump action model..

A local gun store had one of those in .223 new in stock. What a sweet pointing cool little gun.

So 223's are available in single shot, bolt action, pump, lever, semi auto and automatic. In single shot, semi auto and bolt action handguns. In combo guns and drillings.
If you can't find a .223 in a platform you like, you probably have a problem.

My buddy has one of those H&K 630s that’s still new in the box. Said he bought it back in the 90s, picked the one with the best wood and paid $500 for it, has never shot it. A magazine for it is $300 now.

Probably not. Was inquiring for a friend who does not do computers in any form.

What he is interested in, as suggested in the OP does not include anything resembling an AR platform, a bolt action, or single shot. He would prefer an autoloader as opposed to a lever gun or pump. As best I can tell the pickings are slim, but there are a couple or three out there.
