I recently pulled trigger on a TC Compass in 300 win mag. I knew I would chamge out recoil pad and there isnt one listed for it. I bought the one for tc omega and encore. I has to drill screw holes out little lower on the top and bottom holes and got it on. It looks be 1/16 " longer on bottom and approx 1/32 " short on top edge. I figure quotes there. It looks pretty close unless u really look.
I also am looking for a scope. I found a used Leupold VX II 4x12x40 with the CDS system. It's at a store I used to work at. Owner said he let me have it for $206.00. Or I could buy a new Leupold Freedom or Rifleman. Which would you all take?

Update....I purchased the Leupold today. It is the VX2 and in 4-12x40.i end up getting it for 190.00. It is used but never shot on a rifle. I found out the previous owner was another guy who worked at the store when i did. He was a collector and always buying firearms but never went and did much shooting. It does have the CDS system on it. I may get the dial free as i dont think previous owner ever got the dial from Leupold. The dial on it now is marked in numbers and hash marks. Nothing inscribed on the top of the dial. I also went with Burris Signature Zee rings to mount it in.

Those numbered hash marks are just minutes of angle (MOA) in case you’re wondering, good luck
