Great option, I'd go with them with confidence. Other great options are Piercision Rifles and Long Rifles Inc.
Lots of people think custom rifles are out of their price range but Alamo will really work with you within your budget. Now, we are talking about probably $1,000-$1,200 as a minimum but beyond that you are definitely into custom rifle territory. Might be built on a major brand action but it will be massaged and on a level that will compete with a custom action.
Alamo is not a "These are our builds, pick one" type of shop. They will truly build you a rifle to your specifications working within your budget.
