Ruger American 7mm-08 ROT - 02/07/20
When the first RAR's came out in 2012 or 2013 to now; did Ruger change the rate of twist from 1 in 9.5 in the first batch of rifles to 1 in 8.5 in their later manufactured 7mm-08's.
Reason I ask is that Ruger's current website says 1 in 8.5, but I see some of these rifles advertised with 1 in 9.5. I want to try the faster twist, but don't want to purchase 'old stock' still floating around out in the some warehouse. I asked one major gun seller over the phone and they said 1 in 9.5 but then said check the Ruger website and that's what it is...which sounded like a strange response.
