I put a few videos on YouTube and thought this one might be interesting to those of you that skin your coyotes. I filmed it a while back for my FaceBook page.



The market sucks so now is a good time to practice on coyotes that aren’t worth much.

The foot pedal is a game changer IMO. Being able to adjust the height hands free and put some tension on the belly while it is being pulled up on the machine helps a bunch.

Not a steel but a large Philips screwdriver. I skin in the field so I don't have to deal with carcasses.

I love skinning in the field when they are red hot. That is a great way to go erich.

Thanks guys. It has been a god system for me. I have seen some that use a drop gate to hold the pelt instead of clamps. Probably the way to go if I was starting over but I use this setup on deer also so it is pretty versatile.
