Anyone loading these bullets in their 204 and if so your favorite load. This group was from my last AR build in 204 Ruger using the Shilen 24 inch barrel with 1&9 twist.

you give up a bit of velocity but varget has always been my favorite in the .204 for accuracy
I've been using BLC2 with the 35 gr Berger for a while now. Not as accurate as that group of yours! Velocity is decent, and it's a quick killer on rock chucks.
i load the 39 gr. sierra blitz king i use to use rl10x but have switched to varmint pro powder,i get many 1 hole groups at the range out of my savage
I shoot both bullets with 28 gr of H4895 in my CZ Varminter. Also shoot 26.2 gr of BenchMark With either bullet. Federal 205M primers and Winchester brass.
AR Comp has become the accuracy champ out of my Ruger UltraLite barrel in 204....with the 34 grain HP bulk bullet from Mid South..
$41 and change per 500...
I've had very good success with 27gr Varget and the 39 gr Blitking whistling out there at 3475fps.
Benchmark and 35 Bergers...
h-4895 and 40gr v-max
I'm going to try the Berger 35 gr with H4895 , Win Cases, Rem 7.5 BR Primers in my CZ 527 204 Ruger
Bea175: I have not shot any of the Sierra 39 grainers in my various 204's as yet but I have a lot of experience with the 35 grain Bergers.
In fact if I had unlimited funds and lived anywhere near a reliable source of Berger bullets I would shoot the Berger 35 grainers, exclusively.
All 6 (six) of my 204 Ruger Varminters shoot the 35 grain Bergers the best of any bullet I have tried in them to date.
And the Berger 35 grain bullets performance on all manner and size of Varmints is wonderful as well.
I had to "settle" on the excellent Sierra 32 grain Blitz Kings as my go to bullet in all of my 204's as they are cheaper and more readily available to me AND very nearly as accurate.
I use H 4895, Federal 205 M (match), and 4 different kinds of brass in my Rifles - it seems to me that my 204's are simply quite accurate no matter what I feed them and that includes factory ammo!
Now this - I am NOT playing "one up's manship" on you with this - my last trip to the range with any of my 204's (Remington XR-100 with Weaver V-16 variable scope) produced for me a group (5 shots at 100 yards) measuring .255". This was in late July of this year.
I noticed that your group was .256" in your photograph - coincidence, I think, that similarity in group sizes.
I highly recommend you trying the Berger 35 grainers in your already accurate 204.

I purchased 200 of the Berger's a few months back but haven't tried them. My wife purchased me the CZ 527 Left Hand 204 for Christmas but i didn't want to waste two weeks of calling season waiting for the 25th to come around. The AR15 i shot the group with was my first build in 204. My buddy saw me shoot the group and he had to have the upper. I built another one but this time I built the 20 Practical. The CZ is so light and i believe it will make a great walking varminter . I mount a Trijicon 3x9 with amber mil-dot for calling.
Sierra 39gr
Reloader 10X 25.1grs
Federal Match primer
Win brass
Rem 700VLS .204
very accurate, not sure of the speed though.
I have 10X and Benchmark and will try them both with the Berger and the BK
h335 or benchmark for me
TAC for me with the 35 Bergers. 3919 fps and .750" 5 shot groups in my Montana.
For me IMR8208XBR has been the darling in my Montana and also in the 17 Rem. 35gr. Bergers shoot real well, but I prefer the 37gr. CRT's. Not many small varmints around these parts so I don't use any plastic tip bullets. I have shot the 34gr. Midsouth bullets and I like those, but no experience with them on Coyotes/Fox/or Bobcats. H4895 shot real well in another 204 I used to have and shot ok in the Kimber Montana I have now.

Any brass any primer 28gr of Varget and the 39BK bullet in my CZ walnut varmint rifle. G
I shoot two 204's a Cooper and a CZ 527, both seem to like the 39gr Sierra the best over the Bergers or Nolser. I shoot H322 and H335 in the CZ but the Cooper seems to like IMR 8208 XBR the best. Any way I go seems the little CZ shoots right along side of the Cooper. Great little caliber!
