Anybody have any experience with this light: https://sioutdoorproducts.com/products/the-boar-light

I have looked at all the Elusive Wildlife stuff. This Boar Light, being an all inclusive unit, seems like a good product.

Here's some other options i'd consider first. A few like the boar light with the solar panel on the back of the light. And a few with a larger separate panel, which I think would be more versatile for optimal positioning of the light and the collector.

Looks like a good light for not too much money .

Don't buy a texas boars light , I bought one $215 - supposedly durable - last for years etc. etc. , it got rained on about the third time I used it -filled up with water and ruined . Owner thought I submerged it some how , nopejust rain. Then said it was all beat up - I explained the stuff on it was duct tape residue glue , never dropped nothing -kept in a game bag with foxpro callers etc ..
Said he'd sell me another for half price then never answered my emails or PM's on their website .
Wouldn't mail my old light back either .

I have good luck with the Elusive Wildlife Blindsider. 4 D-cell batteries last a long time. It puts out a bright green light that doesn't seem to offend hogs. It lights up a hog so that you can put a good scope on a hog at 200 yards. Also an advantage for me is the motion detector feature that allows me to relax and not have to stay constantly alert and watching.
