Anyone using Benchmark powder with 50/52 grain bullets in a 22-250?

If so, what kind of velocity are you getting?

Did at one time, don’t anymore. Never got the performance out of it. Went back to H380 for the 250 but Benchmark is a dandy in 223 with those weights. 3500 isn’t hard to get out of a 24 inch tube.

I'm using benchmark in my Tikka 22-250 - I chose it over CFE223 because of the temp stability.

Getting 3850 FPS with 50 gr v-max - 24" bbl. The load is slightly under the max load listed by Hogdon.
You could push them a lillte harder in my gun - but these group < 1" (4 shot group )

SD 12fps ES 27FPS

I loaded up 36.0 grains Benchmark with Nos 50 ballistic tips and Berger 52 hp.. velocity was just under 3800 and groups one inch to slightly under.
