I purchased a a new Savage R 17 at Dicks today and intend to use on state land in Connecticut which requires .22 and under.

I m also considering a .243 for private land.

What would you recommend for a scope for the Savage?
I am biased towards used Swarovski or similar. Open to suggestions

Price was right, I don’t disagree about Dicks, usually buy from a small dealer.
