anyone have any dealings with the GPS in the subject line? Mine goes through batteries , they only last about a day. What am I doing wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong. I do however, keep the light on real low and make it so it shuts back off after about 30 seconds. Mine eats batteries and I use Eneloop rechargables. . They dont last long and I always keep a spare set with me.
