I started researching these products and interested in the vest. I generally layer up anyway but after 2 hours in a stand, the chill begins.
Anyone have experience with these? A friend tried out his Dukseek vest today and liked it and another ordered a TIDEwe but hasnt’ received it.

My son bought me a heated vest. Don't remember the name but it has been awesome. It gives you so much versatility, no more worrying if you have enough or to much on. Love it for AM sits. I wear it under an un-insulated shell. Walk in with it off, climb in no sweating. Then as the sun comes up and you cool off just turn it on. Great for when your traveling too. Eliminates multiple jackets. Obviously not a back country piece of equipment due to needing to recharge but I LOVE mine.

I’ve been using the Tidewe for 2 seasons. It works really well. Buy larger as they run on the small side.

Thank you. I’m in CT and we have some cold mornings. I bought a First LIte insulated jacket and sent it back pending feedback on the vest. I spoke to a few people that use ORORO for skiing and they had positive feedback.
I’ve looked at TideWe, ORORO, heated hunter, GOBI to name a few.
I think i’lll pull the plug on one of them, i have plenty of other layering solutions over the vest.

Thank you.
I looked at one today. The idea of having to flip a switch rather than getting sweaty wearing heavier stuff in or packing a bunch in a backpack is pretty dang attractive. Always wondered about weight, longevity, reliability, cleaning, etc. Figured I'd get one, wait until I was thoroughly cold, flip the switch and... discover the battery was dead, a wire had came loose, or something...
Got an Ororo vest for my wife for Christmas a year ago. She loves it and it’s been a good piece of gear.

Same here! Used it last season and was glad I had it!
