I am looking for a lightweight tree stand that utilizes a bracket that can be left on the tree. Problem with trespassers on the land that I hunt on and I'm worried somebody may try stealing the stand if I leave it in the woods. I have looked at the summit headhunter and heard good things about it but was wondering if anybody else new of some that I hadn't seen yet.

Anothe option for you would be the Lone Wolf alpha hang on, they also utilize a belt strap and hook that can be left in the tree. If you have a hardware store near you, you can make additional straps for less than what they cost direct.

Loggy bayou made one,but it is now discontinued.it was the loggy evolution.Left one up for a week and when I returned someone cut the lock and stole it!I had just found it on ebay and hunted it once.Kinda defeats the purpose of having a removable stand so shame on me.Set up was easy and it was comfortable to boot!
