I took a new Minox ZA5 scope (thanks to FSJeeper) for a little exercise over the weekend in the back yard. Seems to work OK.

I can't shoot the ridiculous number of squirrels in my backyard. My wife likes them too much. She'd shoot me. Same with all the deer.

I put out small ear corn feeders in the backyard for the squirrels, which I feed November-February, then drive close to 50 miles away to hunt them. Great fun (sarc)to see more on the feeders than I saw in the woods I was hunting. No, I can’t explain it.

Ton of Grey squirrels here. Finally won the bird feeder war. But every once 8n a while an alpha comes along and can leap fantastic distance and destroy. Have to whack one every so often

Finished up last year with 118 tree rats and 40'ish chipmunks. So far this year I've smacked 45 tree rats and 18 chipmunks. Where they come from I have no idea but they seldom leave my backyard alive.
